The containers and cargo at the front of the ship suffered severe damage in the fire, but according to the ship's photos, the containers located at the stern to the rear of the accommodation area suffered relatively minor damage.

Jebel Ali approved the "WAN HAI 503" to use the port as a refuge port, which means that the fired container ship finally ended its long drift forced on the sea.

Earlier, on June 9, the cargo hold of the "WAN HAI 503" exploded and caught fire.
