What are the customs inspections? What do you check?

For everyone, I am afraid that I am most worried about the operation of an import and export ticket. But the fact is that the inspection is there, and it is unbiased. If you hurry, you can avoid it. We have rationalized the cause and effect of the customs inspection, and the inspection has really come, and it means that it is the same.

Customs inspecting the counter will incur some additional costs, but these fees are not collected by the customs, but the cost of the container, the cost of the container, etc., which are collected by the terminal. Because it is the cost of customs inspection, the terminal generally refers to these expenses. For the customs inspection fee, the terminal will issue a formal invoice. Therefore, these check-in fees are paid by SHIPPER. There will be inspection notices before the general customs inspection, and there will be inspection reports after the inspection.

Inspection is an important means of customs supervision. Customs clearance is only a procedure. The Customs will conduct random checks on some sensitive names based on their own experience and policies at the time. Of course, there will be random checks for no reason. When checking, the box will be opened to see if the information related to the customs declaration is the same, the name of the product, the quantity, the value of the declared goods, etc., whether there is fraudulent tax, escape of commodity inspection, HS code classification is incorrect.

Customs inspections generally have several directions to check, so if you pay more attention to these points, you will not go wrong.

Common troubleshooting problems are generally:

1. Check the product name

The more error-prone here is that the product name and the common name are easy to make mistakes, and then the Chinese name and the actual product name translated from multiple meanings of the English word sometimes cannot be matched.

2, check the specifications

What is easy to make mistakes is that some factory customers have put the carton packaging specifications up, and there are many different specifications that need one of the largest and the smallest, and then there are some irregular product length specifications of two, one upper length , a length below.

3. Check the quantity

It is the total quantity, and it is easy to make mistakes. It is mostly underreporting, especially the tax rebate. The reason for frequent mistakes here is that the customs declaration information is made in advance. When the cabinet loading is changed, the data is changed and the update is forgotten.

4, check the weight

There are two places where the weight is more error-prone.

The first is that the gross weight and net weight of bulk goods are more than 3%-5% above and below the actual weight.

The second is that the weight-based products only know the gross weight but the net weight is calculated. Many customers have the gross weight divided by the gross weight minus the net weight divided by the number of pieces not exceeding 1 or 2 kg to reverse the net weight, resulting in non-conformity with the actual net weight. I have experienced a funny customer using this method to calculate the wrong net weight. At the end of the inspection, the customs did not need to open the box and weighed and judged that there was a problem. The reason was that every one of the customized cartons had a box, the box. There is a single room gross weight and net weight on the top, and the weight of the customs declaration is completely out of tune. This is too sloppy. It is estimated that the carton is made in advance.
