According to the "Notice of the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on the Trial Implementation of the Exclusion of Customs and Tariffs on the US and Canada" (Announcement of the Taxation Committee [2019] No. 2), the State Council's Customs Tariff Commission announced on the 11th the first batch of tariffed goods against the United States and Canada. For the first time, the list was excluded. For the first batch of tariffed goods, the first batch of goods were excluded, and it was implemented on September 17, 2019.
Among them, the commodities listed in Listing 1 will not be imposed on the tariffs imposed by the anti-US 301 measures from September 17, 2019 to September 16, 2020. The tariffs already imposed shall be refunded, and the relevant importing enterprises shall apply to the Customs within 6 months from the date of publication of the exclusion list.
For the commodities listed in Listing 2, from September 17, 2019 to September 16, 2020, the tariffs imposed on the anti-US 301 measures will not be added. The tariffs already imposed will not be refunded.
In the next step, the State Council Tariff and Tariff Commission will continue to carry out the elimination of tariffed goods from the United States and Canada, and publish the follow-up batch exclusion list in due course.
