Sunny Worldwide Logistics News Express: Since August, exporting India must provide value data!

Following the entry into force of the new regulations on imported goods, export goods, export manifests and arrival lists in June this year, the Indian Customs has recently announced new notices:
Since August 1, 2019, goods exported to ports in India must be provided with value data, and the specific data is filled in according to the invoice amount. If there is no value data, it will affect the customs clearance of goods in India.
At the same time, each bill of lading must be filled in the Remark column when submitting SI information. The value data will not be displayed on the bill of lading. Do not fill it in the product name.

At present, the shipping company has issued an announcement to remind the owner and freight forwarder to fill in the information as required.

深圳宏铭达物流之新闻快报:8月起,出口印度必须提供货值数据!
ONE notification

India is the largest country in the South Asian subcontinent, with many domestic ports and 12 major ports, including Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai (formerly known as Madras), Cochin, and Goa.

China's seaborne cargo will arrive in Kolkata, India, and transit through other ports with a range of 14-21 days. Transit ports include ports such as Colombo, Visakhapatnam, Krishnapatnam, Port Klang, and Singapore.

It is particularly important to note that Indian customs regulations are not only strict but also have many special regulations.

For example, after the seller's goods arrive at the local area, the goods are transferred directly to the buyer, and the seller cannot return the goods if the buyer does not agree. In addition, if the seller's goods fail to be successfully cleared for more than 3 days, they will be confiscated by the local customs, which will lead to the situation of many sellers.

Here to remind the owner, freight forwarding, when exporting to India, we must pay attention to the new regulations, to avoid the risk of delays in the goods due to the inability to clear customs, being auctioned, etc.!
