Dear Customer,

According to the attached notice, starting from the date of bill of lading on April 1, 2019, the South Sudan Customs Administration began to implement the supervision of the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note “ECTN” for all imported goods. Please ensure that you fully comply with the requirements specified in the Circular and provide shipping instructions and mandatory ECTN numbers for bills of lading and manifests. Otherwise, customs fines and customs clearance delays will be borne by the shipper.

South Sudan imposes new regulations on all goods re-transported through the ports of South Sudan, and all goods must be compulsory for ECTN.

Marine transportation: marine transportation from various loading ports to the port of discharge; all goods entering and leaving South Sudan (including transit goods) passing through Mombasa or Port Sudan or other ports, the shipper must issue ECTN at the port of loading, so that the south The Sudanese customs authorities inspect and submit it to the Antasser International Group for verification.

Each bill of lading must contain at least one ECTN number. ECTN must be issued and verified at the port of loading or border area. ECTN is the basic customs clearance document for customs clearance by the South Sudan Customs authorities. Goods without valid ECTN will be intercepted and detained by customs, and will be fined until the delivery of a valid ECTN. until.
