Maersk sets up a new multifunctional warehouse in Africa

The new facility is located in Abidjan, the largest city in Africa, and is expected to address customer needs and trade growth in this market through its solutions.

Maersk chose a place outside the city as its new multifunctional facility for storage, decontamination and distribution. Around the industrial zone, it is easy to reach the port and avoid the traffic congestion in the city.

The Ivory Coast multi-purpose warehouse covers an area of ​​5,000 square meters with a total capacity of approximately 3,900 pallet positions. Volume, with plenty of parking space, for fast turning. The new non-bonded warehouse also has four docks that will store harmless goods at ambient temperature.

The new factory, entirely operated by Maersk, is equipped with equipment to support various industries such as retail, fast moving consumer goods and technology.
