Earlier, through intelligence analysis and risk assessment, Customs identified an ocean-going ship and suspected that criminals were using the bottom structure of the ship to store drugs, and the method of hiding drugs was different from traditional containers.
After analyzing the cargo ship's structure, driving route and the source of the drugs, customs conducted an underwater inspection of the target ship arriving from Brazil and found 11 bags of suspected cocaine weighing a total of about 417 kilograms in the water inlet on the bottom of the ship. The entire salvage process took 11 hours.
