[About Saudi SASO Certification]

The SABER certification and SALEEM certification program to be issued by Saudi Arabia has been implemented, and the Saudi saso certification and Saudi saso-coc certification will gradually be replaced.

    Introduction to Saudi Certification:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Middle East and the largest economy in the Middle East. Since 2006, China has become the second largest import trading partner of Saudi Arabia, with frequent bilateral trade. China's main exports to sand are organic electrical products, clothing, shoes, hats, textiles and home appliances.

Saudi Arabia is very strict in the quality inspection of imported goods, basically adopting Western standards, and the importer reports to the Saudi Standards Agency (SASO) the detailed composition of imported products. In the past year, the Saudi government has often adopted temporary restrictions on importation, such as freezing chickens in China, on the grounds that certain Western countries restrict the import of certain goods from other countries. At the same time, when new products enter the market, Saudi Arabia's requirements for health inspection, business registration, etc. are also very complicated, and some non-tariff barriers are set for the entry of foreign companies and products.

SABER certification replaces Saudi SASO certification:
At the end of 2017, it was reported that from January 1st, 2018, the SABER certification and SALEEM certification plan to be issued by Saudi Arabia will be implemented soon. The SABER certification will be in parallel with the SASO certification for a period of time. The current establishment time is 6 months. . It was delayed by one year and finally implemented in 2019.

The two strategic objectives of the Ministry of Commerce of Saudi Arabia (MoCI) are: “Building consumer trust in the products on the market” and “Ensuring fair trade between buyers and sellers”. This is also part of the “Arab Transition Plan 2030”. To achieve these strategic goals, MoCI plans to implement the Product Safety Program, the SABER and SALEEM Compliance Certification Program.

About the SABER Compliance Certification Program:
SABER is a comprehensive system that sets regulations, technical requirements and control measures. The goal is to ensure the safety of local and imported products.

At the same time, in order to ensure that the legislation and management can provide effective services, this measure can be used to ensure that products comply with technical regulations, especially related to basic technical regulations related to health, safety, environment and energy protection to ensure their safety.
