A few days ago, Hyundai Merchant Marine issued a notice on the acceptance of non-hazardous chemicals.

The notice stipulates that Hyundai Merchant Marine accepts requirements for the type of cargo, including not accepting liquid bags, carbon black, activated carbon, calcium hypochlorite, calcium hydroxide and other cargo. In addition, magnetic goods are not accepted. The goods are magnetic but non-magnetic after magnetically isolated packaging. They can be accepted, but a non-magnetic guarantee is required.

For acceptable non-dangerous chemicals, a MSDS, a Certificate of Carriage Conditions issued by Shanghai Chemical Industry Research Institute, and a non-dangerous guarantee with a booking agent seal are required.

In addition, the notice also made detailed requirements for the application information of non-hazardous chemicals.

In the event of concealment, in addition to a fine of $ 15,000, Hyundai Merchant Marine will also pursue legal responsibilities of related companies and personnel.

I would like to remind the shippers and freight forwarding companies to strictly abide by the operating specifications to avoid economic losses.
