Xinhua News Agency, Havana, October 23 news, Cuban Airlines announced on the 23rd that affected by the United States on the latest sanctions, the company had to cancel multiple international flights.

The head of Cuban Airlines, Arsenio Arocha, told the media on the same day that the company had been told by two foreign companies that the relevant aircraft lease agreement would be terminated, resulting in the company’s flights to Mexico, Dominica, Venezuela and other countries. Forced cancellation, some domestic flights will also face adjustment.

Arocha said that by the end of this year, it is expected that 40,000 passengers will be affected, resulting in economic losses of 10 million US dollars. The company will provide a full refund for the passengers who have purchased the ticket and seek countermeasures.
