Australia (AU) festival biosafety notice
  When preparing for the upcoming Diwali festival, DHL customers need to understand which products can be imported and which cannot be imported into Australia.
Australia has strict biosafety laws. The Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment (DAWE) recently implemented a ban to prohibit certain high-risk and other risky plant products, including some beans, grains and seeds;
  This prohibition prohibits transportation to individuals because such cargo contains a high risk of the invasive pest Khapra beetle, including the following products:
Rice, chickpeas, soybeans (maximum glycine), mung beans, cowpeas, lentils, wheat, dried chili/chili (capsicum), broad beans, pigeon peas, seeds (all species), spices (all types), vegetable gums and resins (Except for chemically extracted or highly processed), plant-based meals and flour, dried fruits, nuts, dried vegetables, unprocessed plant products, etc.
  Seeds and rice are common in Diwali decorations and gifts, and goods containing this high-risk plant material cannot be shipped to Australia.
Please do not ship such products, because testing in Australia will result in further shipment delays, the destruction of prohibited goods, and the importer may be fined for violation of regulations.
