APL shipping company to resume acceptance of Qatar cargo import and export booking

Affected by the Qatar earthquake, APL shipping company in the June 7 announcement to stop the import and export of Qatar's cargo booking.

Recently, APL announced an update announcement that it will resume the import and export of Qatar's cargo booking.
APL said it would use other transit hubs and routes to meet some Gulf countries (including Saudi Arabia,United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain) sanctions against Qatar.

There are related export plans for freight forwarding and foreign trade enterprises, APL can consult detailed routes and fees.

Dear Valued Customer,

Following on the advisory circulated on 7 June - with regards to the cargo movement to and from Qatar due to change in diplomatic relations in the Gulf - we would like to update you that APL will now reinstate our shipping services to and from Qatar, Using alternative hubs and routes that comply with sanctions against Qatar imposed by some of the Gulf nations including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain.

If you have any new bookings to and from Qatar, please contact your local APL representative for more information on the service routes and relevant tariffs.

APL remains committed to serve your shipping needs to the best of our abilities. AP, reserves any of the additional restrictions that may be imposed by the countries currently exercising the ban, or any new country that may impose the ban.
