APL Notice: Must comply with Saudi Maritime Dangerous Goods Declaration,otherwise the goods will be

Recently, APL issued a notice to remind customers, must comply with Saudi Arabia on the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) declaration requirements, all unloaded in Saudi Arabia Jeddah dangerous goods, must be completed before the customs clearance, or the goods will remain on board, not allowed In order to ensure that the goods can be completed before the unloading clearance, APL on the freight forwarding and foreign trade enterprises to make the following recommendations:  
1. The shipper must inform the consignee in advance and ensure that the consignee obtains the appropriate documents (original or bill of lading or seawaybill) within 3-4 working days before the goods arrive at Jeddah, Person in the specified time to complete the relevant procedures.  
2. In the POL booking, the customs must be provided with the appropriate customs clearance  
3. Ensure that all cargo documents (including bills of lading and shippers' dangerous goods declarations) contain accurate and complete contact information for the consignee, including the consignee's name, telephone number, mobile number and email address.  
APL reminds customers to comply with the above procedures to ensure that the goods can be a smooth handover, non-compliance may lead to cargo stranded on board, not allowed to unload in Jeddah.
