From January to April, the import and export of private enterprises in Guangdong was 1.07 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%, accounting for 50.2% of Guangdong's foreign trade import and export, accounting for 2.2 percentage points. The import and export of foreign-invested enterprises was 919.18 billion yuan, accounting for 43.3%; the import and export of state-owned enterprises was 132.81 billion yuan.
Exports of electromechanical products have grown, and the number of products has declined slightly. From January to April, Guangdong exported 884.69 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, a year-on-year increase of 1.4%. The export of labor-intensive products was 20,070.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.5%.
The customs said that from January to April, Guangdong's foreign trade is gradually stabilizing and the quality of foreign trade is constantly improving.
